Village Halloween Parade 2004 Rob and Fina's photos

These photos are all by my sister Fina and myself (Rob Vincent, aka Rob T Firefly.)

The affable Sergey and Fina, waiting for a train to NYC.	Sergey and my robot friend Tom Servo contemplate the train ride.	Servo wears Fina's hat - a genuine Russian police hat.
I was dressed as Joel Robinson, of television's Mystery Science Theater 3000.  With me was my own replica of MST3k's own wisecracking robot Tom Servo.	That hat is a normal hardhat, customized with a marker and some patience.	The Gizmonic Institute was where Joel worked before being shot up into space and forced to watch bad movies.

That's a real cop, and he was already quite sick of "What a realistic costume!" jokes before the parade.	A lovely woman sitting in a DeLorean was allowing people to take photos with it.   Having always loved the cars but never being that close to one, I geeked out.	The owners were nice enough to let Servo do some hood ornamentation.
Tetesuro got some better photos of this car, and myself posing with the driver.	Of course, you can't have a DeLorean without Doc Brown!	A sure sign that you're in the Village on Halloween.
Who's cuter than Leeloo of The Fifth Element!	This Borg was part Segway.  Servo was very happy to meet his distant relative.	Fina with a chicken Bush.
Servo takes great interest in a float of go-go girls.  They take a slight amount of interest in him.	This is not a photo of a license.. it's a photo of a man dressed as his license.  How cool is that? I just hope that isn't really his info...	Brother, bot, and sister!
Whenever you point a camera at a crowd and shout "Smile for the Internet!" they'll always look like this.	Predictably, things got a bit more political at this parade than usual.	Auron, the coolest character in Final Fantasy X.  This photo doesn't really do him justice, it was a great costume!
There were a few Kill Bill Brides parading, but this one was the bloodiest, and coolest.	THEY LIVE!!!	The Joker and Harley Quinn, the greatest Batman villains ever.
	S-A-N-T-A, C-L-A-U-S Hooray for Santy Claus!	Jay and Silent Bob!  This pic nicely balances out the Supergirl / Wonder Woman pic above.
This Rebel Pilot was hanging out with a squadron of Imperial stormtroopers, but some cop shouted at us to clear out of the way before I could pose with them.	Some pals convene in a restaurant after the parade.	Sergey and Fina.

Fina was given a banner from some activists, which she put to good use on the ride home.
